Get Organized with Evernote: A Step-By-Step GuideFeb 11, 2021
Disorganization is costly. It costs you time, money, opportunities, energy, and your sanity.
Ask yourself this question...
How is disorganization affecting me and my business?
Is it causing you to miss out on leads, contacts, or referrals? Is it causing you to feel paralyzed, frustrated, and overwhelmed? Is it something that is keeping you from creating the life and business you desire?
You're in the right place if...
- You want to stop paying the price for disorganization
- You want to reduce physical, digital, & mental clutter
- You want to increase clarity, confidence, and calm
"Clutter is not just the stuff on the floor. It's anything that stands between you and the life you want to be living." - Peter Walsh
As a digital systems coach and trainer, I am often asked what tools I use in my business.
The one I use daily to organize my life and my business is Evernote.
After 17 years of drowning in piles of paper and having no system for storing digital information, this tool had a tremendous impact on my life when I started using it in 2013.
This transformation was so significant that I became an Evernote Certified Consultant in 2016. Now I teach others how to create organized online systems using Evernote,
Here's the issue with physical filing systems...
- They create clutter
- It's hard to find anything
- You run out of space
- It isn't easy to access, share or manipulate
- It isn't GREEN
With an online system, information is easy to store, find, access, share, edit, and organize. Evernote is similar to your physical filing system but instead of folders and documents, you use Notebooks and Notes!
Evernote holds EVERYTHING that I need to access!!
I know what you are thinking. "I can't go completely PAPERLESS!"
Going PAPERLESS does not mean giving up all paper. It means going paper-LESS. By creating new habits and new systems you will have LESS paper and have more clarity on where to store and access what you need quickly.
What do I store in Evernote? EVERYTHING!!
- Business cards
- Project Information
- Tax Receipts
- Special Memories
- Warranty Information
- Insurance and Retirement Statements
- To-Do Lists, Checklists, and Templates
- And so much more!
Are you ready to get organized?
